“Ultimately I’m disappointed for everyone in and around the club. From the players, to the committee to all the fans.
“We have now won 15 games in a row in the league and looked set to pose a title challenge. Now unfortunately the boys will not get the true credit they deserve in terms of accolades.
“It is one of those things but the health of the public is paramount at this time. I would personally like to thank all NHS workers and various other key workers at this time who are keeping the country going at this difficult time.
“I and the rest of the team look forward to the beginning of next season and hope we can continue our excellent run of form. We hope to see you all again once this is all over.
