Four new players have signed on with John Gibson's Blantyre Vics side for the 2021/22 season.
Experienced defender Scott Gibson has joined the club from Lowland League side Cumbernauld Colts. The 27-year-old centre-back has played in over 200 games in the Scottish Professional Football League during spells with Queen's Park, Annan Athletic and Airdrieonians.
Also joining from Cumbernauld Colts this season is 27-year-old defensive midfielder Jordan Marshall who has played at Junior level with Petershill and Rutherglen Glencairn as well as in the Lowland League with BSC Glasgow and the afore mentioned Cumbernauld Colts.
The next signing on John Gibson's roster is attacking midfielder Grant Brennan. 23-year-old Grant joins the club from Stirling Albion having spent the 2019/20 season on loan with Kirkintilloch Rob Roy.
Peter (PJ) O'Donnell joins the club from fellow West of Scotland Football League side Lanark United. After a very successful time at Moor Park for the 22-year-old, he makes the step up to the 6th tier with Blantyre Vics.
Ronan Kearney formerly of Albion Rovers, East Stirlingshire and Bruno’s Magpies of Gibraltar joins the Vics for this season. The 21-year-old winger has a great amount of experience in the game despite still being very young and he will be looking to make an impact in Blantyre.
